Rotary’s EPIC Day of Service Delivers for Families in Need

Rotarians from across the region joined forces with local service organizations and community volunteers on May 23 for Rotary’s EPIC Day of Service, turning compassion into action for families in need. Together, participants assembled meal kits that will help provide nourishment and hope throughout the community.
 
The Rotary Club of Burbank Noon was proud to participate in Rotary’s EPIC Day of Service 2026, joining fellow Rotarians and community partners for a day dedicated to making a meaningful difference.

Volunteers from Rotary clubs across District 5280 worked side by side with members of Glendale Kiwanis, Burbank Kiwanis, St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church Peace and Justice Ministry, and the Zonta Club of Burbank Area to assemble meal kits for families facing food insecurity.

The May 23 effort was part of Rotary’s EPIC Day of Service, a global initiative that united Rotary clubs in eight countries through hands-on community projects focused on improving lives and strengthening communities.

A special thank-you goes to Burbank Sunrise Rotary, District 5280, Rotary Club of Woodland Hills, Granada Hills Rotary Club, Wilshire Rotary, Greater Van Nuys Rotary, Rotary Club of Hollywood, and LA Five Rotary for helping make this impactful day possible. Together, we demonstrated the power of collaboration and Rotary’s enduring commitment to Service Above Self.
