David Henseler sent the following email to our club:
"We are having another collection event to support the military families at Camp Pendleton and Fort MacAurthur (in San Pedro). When these families arrive at the base they only have what they brought with them in their car for their homes. More detail of why Rotary supports them and what they need for their homes and families, is in the flyer attached.
Remember, these are the men and women deployed around the world defending our freedom. Only donate things that are in good enough condition that you would give to your son, daughter or grandchild for their home.
We will also be collecting shoes for the Soles4Souls organization. They send used shoes all over the world for people who have none."
